It’s Thursday and time for your recipe, these bars are yummy and I know you will like them. I have to warn you they are part of the reason I am on “the plan”–you know weight loss plan. Oh, I forgot to tell you another lousy one half pound. So by “their scale” I have lost 9 pounds by my scale I have lost 13, I think I will go with the 13. LOL–so far I have passed up Olive Garden, well I could not pass it up it was my grand daughter’s birthday so I had an orange, almonds and salad, sounds yummy huh? Do I sound discouraged? I’m not, I just keep plugging along.
1 1/2 Cup Kero Syrup
1 1/2 Cup Sugar
Bring the above to a boil, immediately add 1 1/2 cup peanut butter and 9 cups Special K Cereal. Pat in a 9 x 13 pan and sprinkle 6 ounces of butterscotch chips and 6 ounces of chocolate chips on the top. You can leave these whole or kind of swirl them around.
